jarmans 'outlandish' statement

while i know what he meant, his statement on the abc's coverage of the north v south game came as something a coach would not say 'normally' (is he normal though ?) paraphrasing he said this year is a grand final year it is an absolute must

what happened to 'one game at a time' ?

Don't ever accuse him of being boring though.
If he says one game at a time, then we all roll out eyes and wish he'd said something original!

Any coach who reckons their goal isn't the premiership is a liar.

FFS - we missed the GF by 7 points last year so in reality Jarman and North should have aspirations to at least make the GF this year so why not set your target as that and be honest about it. At times I am a critic of Jarman despite being a North supporter but a cheap shot from a bays supporter of all people about another teams coach is a bit rich?

At least Jarman has a say and an opinion whether people like it or not from time to time including his own clubs supporters who by the way have the right to have a crack back which we do (often!). Are you that bored or just so content about your clubs achievements since 1986 that it is open season on other coaches.

So tell us what "lofty" goals Mickan has. Would one be to try and piss off the Power by any chance?

P.S. By the way I don't think North will make the GF personally. It would be nice but can't see it happening this year IMO

Jars is good value for the comp.
I hope he coaches for another 20 years.

So do I - that would be one less club to worry about stealing flags from us.

As mentioned earlier, we roll our eyes and try not to fall asleep when %99 of the time we get the inevitable "We just focus on one week at a time" ... Good on him for calling it as it is, surely it wouldn't come as a surprise to anyone after North went so close to gaining a GF birth last year.
