Both have played Norwood in the last 2 weeks, on form it's a North win.

Having said that Jars reckoned our trial game win over the eagles would be our last win of the season, if they front up as if we are easy beats then we'll roll 'em just like the legs rolled us.

I wish :)

No game is easy this year mate. Very even comp. The only thing not even is the team on the top that is in a class of it's own

Mate I dont entirely agree having seen 2 CD games live I would say they are not so far in front that they cant be beat by a good gameplan.
Very impressive against the Eagles tho.

I disagree, from what Ive seen, they can't be beaten, they had an off year or a rebuilding year last year and still won a 2nd semi.
Its just a matter of by how much unless some serious injuries hit them IMHO.

Other consolation is they will both be above nrwd on the premier ladder
But it was more than a victory for Greece. It was a stirring example to free people throughout the world of what a few brave men can accomplish once they refuse to submit to tyranny.

I'm not so sure about that. Norwood has a good team and in the end bad kicking cost them controlling that game in the middle 2 quarters which cost them having a good lead. And given the the circumstances last night North may not have got it back. Norwood in both grades have got some real height and good pace at ground level and a number of North senior players were asking where Norwood found these big blokes as with our current injury list we appear to have run out of tall options.

If Norwood play the sort of football they showed last night and clean up their kicking at goal (got North's yips thank christ) they will wi more than they lose IMO.

You have one of our ex champions in Daryl Hicks too. What a gentleman and a great football person Mr Hicks is.

I think this game will be as much about who can out coach who. McGowan v jarman will go a long way to who wins this game.

If it were that simple, Jarman is buggered - but it's not that simple. Sturts main focus should be now on maintaining the level they have achieved. If they are still focussing on improvement then they may falter - consolidation of lessons already learnt is required over the next 8-10 games, then look at progressing to the next level.
