If you are being coached by Terry Wallace maybe....

Is it just me or has EHL been a bit quiet lately.....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

You aren't out of it until you lose 10 games. Plus, as we all know, in the SANFL you have a 5/9 chance of making the finals to start off with. So a bit early I think to make any "season over" calls.

Its pretty easy to sink the boot into the Eagles... they were pretty bad today

Dont forget they are the premiers and they lost 3 of their first 5 last season.....

CD were in a similar position in 2005.

Short answer....No. West made the finals with 8 wins a few years ago. By my reckoning, they're still a chance if they win only 50% of their games through the rest of the year. Top 5 in a 9 team comp to me rewards mediocrity, but on the flip side your team isn't ever out of the running until after the half way point of the season.

Don't worry Eagle. The Redlegs will play you back into form. We haven't beaten your mob since Anne Wills was hot.

Except they were never known as Eagles, nor did Anne Wills look her peak in 1991. I know you are only 'joking', but.

And Dutchy, West in 2004 (8-12) are the only team since 2000 to have done that.

i agree with that if glenelg play like they did today every week & get rid of a couple of silly errors we will win more than we lose 7 i'll be frank i thought we would get flogged with an undermanned team
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

I wouldn't write the Eagles off yet, Last year after round 5 they were 2 wins, 2 losses, 2005 Centrals were the same (and 3 wins, 5 losses after Rd 10)
North Adelaide F C : Champions of Aust 1972 : Premiers 1900, 02, 05, 20, 30, 31, 49, 52, 60, 71, 72, 87, 91

The comp is proving to be very even this season so after only 5 rounds how the hell can anyone comfortably predict the likelihood of any team missing the 5. The Eagles are too talented not to climb out of their "rut" and make the 5 IMO.
