Highlight of my day today was sturtpeter coming up and introducing himself to me, an absolute pleasure to chat footy and other things with sp for a good 10-15 mins.
A nicer bloke you'd never come across in your life, thanks for making my day sp.

Also, on a similar tangent, the Sturt fans were fantastic today.
Poor bugger's didn't have much to cheer for early on but were there in numbers and were extremely well behaved.

Unlike the sooks (glenelg fans) and big heads (norwood fans)
But it was more than a victory for Greece. It was a stirring example to free people throughout the world of what a few brave men can accomplish once they refuse to submit to tyranny.

I'm suprised the crowd figure according to the paper today was so low. I spoke to a few Sturt supporters yesterday and despite the game looking done and dusted by half time there was just good friendly banter/rivalry. The only Sturt person who reacted was Chambers who gave us the bird in the last quarter after copping it all day.

Did anyone see the gutless North wally who while coming off the ground after a kick & catch, gave Feasty a mouthful at the start of the final term? When Feasty paused to confront him, he shat himself and ran off the field and behind the safety of the fence. I can only imagine what the coward said but Feasty did not look impressed. Thankfully it went no further. Whether you like a certain player or not, I don't like that little period before the start of a quarter where the public inter-mingle with players moving back to position and it's only a matter of time before there is a nasty incident.

We all have stories like that zip zap and of course Sturt supporters have never given any opposition player a gobful when coming of the ground in the breaks! Whilst we are at it - any comment on the drunken Sturt "yobs" that gave Rob Gerard a mouthful on more than one occasion yesterday? Apparently he is more disciplined than Feast as he just smiled and kept walking.

OK regardless of a specific incident, the point I was making was about that period when joe public is coming off the ground and the players are moving into position. I think it's an accident waiting to happen is all.

Everyone has a different breaking point Dutchy. I would want to be the one abusing someone the size of Feast if, for example, his missus had just left him and he was about to tip over the edge.

I reckon the instigator is largely at blame as if they didn't say anything, the risk of something happening is non-existant. I think I just repeated your words in a different order spelly.

Nor ban a user for an acceptable topic of discussion.

"Baby on board". Why dont you put a sign on ur car saying "adult on board" or "car stereo in use"?
