CUPIDO + WATERHOUSE

Postby mal » Sun May 13, 2007 7:12 pm

Ive heard a lot of unfavourable comments about these 2 footballers on SAFOOTY
Today in the PA + WA game they kicked about 15 goals between them
I think WATERHOUSE 8 CUPIDO 7 GOALS
Both are sensational footballers and as a nuetral supporter it was an immeasurable
pleasure to watch these 2 brilliant footballers in action.

Yes CUPIDO was ridiculed and heckled most of the day
WATERHOUSE was criticised once as well

Time to get off their backs and just enjoy the marvellous skills they regularly show us.

Ive always been a fan of Waterhouse, I think he's in for a stellar year and its no coincidence that his best 2 weeks are the 2 weeks Hargraves has played.
Clive had to play 2 roles in the past and always got the best defender and was quite often double teamed.
That wont happen with Hargs in the goal square and the 2 are good mates too so should have a good understanding.

Cupido oozes class, there's never been any doubting that but I'll reserve judgement on his season till the end of the year, so far so good.

Oozing class is good. Gravy is the problem.

Good post, mal, they were both brilliant today.

Looking at Cupido, I think the fat jokes are no longer relevant.

He's not as fat as last year, but he still looks like he ate all the pies.

He's still too fat for SANFL League footy standard (mind you if he was "fit" enouygh for SANFL legue footy he wouldn't be here with his skills...

Mind you to be consistant (i.e. bagging other teams players for tehir lack of fitness) to the trained eye SLSP isn't as fit as he could be either....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

The South fans were saying the same thing this time last year  . Wait until the cold weather sets in and he has to comfort himself with a hearty winter diet of fat food. Dough boy will be back!

See that is the problem mal. They don't do it regularly. I hope they don't start either.

Cupido was very damaging on sunday as was waterhouse.

I think Cupido was better becuase he played on two quality backmen in Ah Chee and Lokan. Ah Chee looked lost and had to go to the half back line to find the ball. Lokan was simply outclassed by great body work and precise kicking.

take nothing away from Waterhouse he was spectacular to watch but only played on Jacques and Mensforth.

I think Clive is one of,if not the best one grab player in a marking contest in the SANFL.His vice like hands grab that pill and snaffle it quick smart.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.
