Whats the deal with the Eagles' yellow jumper
They have worn it in every game, except against WA & PAM. The only real clash is against SA, N & CD.
Based on current logic the only other team I can see them wearing the magnificent blue jumper against is NA. If this is the case why bother having two jumpers.

Id just assume they'd wear it when the other team has blue (ie South, Norwood, Central and Sturt).
I'd assume using current logic they would wear their predominately blue top against North, Glenelg, West and Port?
ie predominately Woodville looking guernsey against 4 clubs and predominately Torrens looking guernsey against 4 clubs. Perfectly fair and common sense I would have thought?

To be fair as I think the yellow jumper looks a lot better than the blue one but thst just IMHO.
Mind you the sturt side still thought they were kciking to their own side when kicking to us yesterday

I guess he brought that up because the yellow one was worn against Glenelg as well. Whereas previously the last years' blue guernsey was worn against Glenelg.

No worries, we all get mental blocks now and again.

Good post JamesH. I get annoyed when they continually use the yellow jumper when not needed, especially at home. Sturt are not a clash and Glenelg is not a clash. They only need it against Central, Norwood and South. The yellow guernsey looks average as well - the blue one much better.

I dont mind it...be fair Woodville need to be remembered too you know ! It is the Woodville West Torrens football club not the West Torrens football club anymore !

My personal choice is the yellow gurnsey, looks and stands out better.
The blue gurnsey is just blue from chest down and you can hardly tell there is green from a distance. Add green shorts and socks with the blue guernsey and it would look a treat.

Love the yellow gurnsey, stands out against every other gurnsey. One small problem is that the EAGLE doesn't stand out as much as on the blue gurnsey.
I always thought the yellow gurnsey should have been the main one as the common colour between West Torrens and Woodville was YELLOW.

Last year they wore the yellow one against Norwood at the parade. Fair enough. But wore their blue shorts which had me buggered. Thought that white shorts must be worn if you are the away side and your shorts colour is same or close with home team. Not that shorts clashes were ever a problem when guernseys are in contrast. Just thought that was the rule for away gear.

I've never seen the Eagles wear white shorts with their yellow guernsey. It would look very ordinary... but I see your point.

I agree ferret
And to be honest I dont care what jumper wwt wear as long as they win every week.
As a side note the yellow jumper reminds me of the heritage jumper WWT wore last year not a bad thing either .

Is there even a 'rule' about clashing uniforms or are clubs just expected to work it out themselves? ie, do the SANFL tell the clubs what to wear?
Why did Sturt wear white shorts against North?

One thing for sure, the Eagles will turn up in a fruit bowl for a jumper whether it's mainly yellow or not
