Sorry but it looks so amateurish with cars around a SANFL oval....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

You'll like the panorma shot then, place didn't seem to have any atmosphere all day, I think its a combination of people sitting in their cars and people from the southern 'burbs treaing it more as a day out as opposed to actually going there to barrack for a side.

The support on the hill would have been at least 80% Glenelg, from the colours I saw when glancing behind me. But then the support from the car parks would have been 80% Panthers, judging by the volume of car horns. It did create a queer sort of atmosphere.

Nah, I spent the first quarter at the back of the hill and there was actually just as many south fans at the back of the hill, they were quieter though as a lot of them were more interested in talking about the previous day's results in the SFL.

But yes I was thinking that with season tickets now available for car parks having most South supporters in cars will mean the support for the away side is more vocal, weird as its the opposite at country/metro amateur grounds.

Damn!
Another one we let slip.
I actually dont think we are that bad....its just that evreyone else is just a little better.

A day when the little blokes had a big influence. I was impressed with McGregor's debut.
Kenna was awesome for the Panthers.

Won't get no argument from me about portaloos and caravans either......and having been beaten fair and square today it would sound how you described.

Wasn't intended as a "slag" per se (even though I admit that is how it could be taken and I expected a justifiable reply like yours) just stating IMO how cars look at a SANFL match.

I said it when it was first mooted and I stand by it still

I actually thought the idea of parking around ground was great, had a bit of shut eye during two's inside the warmth of my car. I am looking forward to going up the hill again next time we play up there.

It might look amateurish, but I think it's a good idea and better than having an empty outer.
