Good to see Colville back. Inkster/Cicolella/Schwarze all still injured? Would also expect Bernie Vince to be included in the team come Sunday given he is an emergency for the Crows. Surprised we've still got McGregor, but good for us.

Go The Eagles.

Would imagine the Eagles should be too strong in this one. Although still not in the best of form I would expect a win by around 5+ goals. Anything less I wouldn't be satisfied.

South may as well not even show up.

Would there be a younger league backline in the history of league footy than the one the Eagles named? Especially the full back line.

HB: Redden (22) Hier (18 ) Fiacchi (26)
FB: Stewart (19) Salter (19) Fairclough (17)

Maybe not, might need Spelly for this one.

Although I'm not game enough to put my hard earned on it, I think South are a big chance here. Carlisle has shut Passador down before which if repeated, will put pressure on the remaining forwards. With no Cicca or Inkster still, if we get it going, IF, we are a chance for 40+.

There was no Cica or Inkster in round 1 either .And we played one quarter of football and won by 80 odd points.

But I would like to see some improvement in the EAGLES after last weeks fade out!!

South are definitely a chance. I tipped them top 3 at the start of the year and thought they were the most dangerous side in last years finals series and glad we didn't have to play them. Like the Eagles, they have underperformed so far this year.

If Passador is quiet early I'd be quick to swap him and McGregor around. I'd be tempted to start McGregor close to the goal square anyway as I think he is most effective as a forward line player within 30m of goal. We have Grocke who can do the running around and contesting around the 50 and further up the ground.

Its going to be interesting Aerie can south shutdown these 3 Passador,Grocke,Macgregor .Then with the likes of Fitzgearld, Batsanis,Symonds and a resting Cooper who can all chip in with Goals .

In round one Salter stretched or appeared to stretch South's defence.Perhaps Ken is going to play the same roll that salter did .

So does Pyeman play his best defender on Passador the reigning Farmer medialist or Macgregor an AFL CHF.And one more question will Vince come into this side ?

Without checking, the current Roosters back line must be pretty close (cumulative) as long as Benny H isn't playing.

Other wise the Eagles bacline is collectively younger than BH on his own. :D

GO SOUTH!

South copped a flogging from the Eagles in round one, there has been a lot of conjecture since over recent weeks as to how the club has improved, our record is not great at Woodville so there is a lot riding on tommorows game. If South did win tommorow I would rate them as a high chance of participating again in the finals this year, if the result is a loss it would confirm my suspicion that the club this year is not as good as the team we had last year, I also feel that is the same of several SANFL clubs, yet still sides do take some time to gel together, so it could all change towards the end of the season!

Sojourner very well said .As this could apply to my team the EAGLES as well.
