Would love to know (for those clubs who do this), who is leading in your Forum's Player of the Year award?

At Norwood, voting works on a 3,2,1 basis and after Round 7, our leaderboard looks like this:

Kieran McGuinness 8
Matt Thomas 5
Jamie Vlatko 5
Heath Culpitt 5
Austin Wonaemirri 3
James Gallagher 3
Robbie DeJongh 3
Stephen Bailey 2
Luke Nitschke 1
Darren Pfeiffer 1

Eagles, South, West, Port supporters? (Not sure if these club forums have one but I would expect Port Magpies to).

There isn't an Eagles one but I'm pretty sure most would have McKenzie ahead of Powell as the leaders at this stage.

West aren't doing one this year. But it would be close between Robbie Gray and Ben Hollands at moment :)

If you've been to all the matches (I haven't been to two of them) you should do them in retrospect and we'll go from there.

I did what you suggested and had a look at the match reports I wrote after each game. Missed the first round, but had a look at Peter Argent's article and took from there. Because I can't remember the games well enough, I've given 3 votes if I thought a player (or players) were clearly our best and 1 vote if they were mentioned as being in the best. Here is what I came up with!

After 7 games
McKenzie 1,1,3,1,1,3,1 (11)
Powell 3,3,1,1 (8)
Treeby 3,1,1,1,1 (7)
Jarrad 3,3 (6)
P Fiacchi 3,1,1 (5)
McGregor 1,3 (4)
Passador 1,3 (4)
Lindsay 1,3 (4)
Vince 3 (3)
Grocke 1,1,1 (3)
Batsanis 3 (3)
Symmons 1,1 (2)
Stewart 1,1 (2)
Salter 1,1 (2)
Klun 1 (1)
Cooper 1 (1)
Fairclough 1 (1)
Cicolella 1 (1)

We should get all the fans supporter sites voting under the same system next year so we can put them together for a SAFooty player of the year! :D

That would involve you and Campbell agreeing on something though Wedgie.

That will require Campbell firstly finding the missing 3 quarters of his brain and then getting his head removed from up his ar*e.

You are quite possibly right, however I would predict the Friends of Campbell Society to say the exact same thing about Wedgie.

As a person that has stood up for Wedgie on the doggies site I feel duty bound to stick up for Campbell on this site.

He's a passionate doggies supporter and one of the reasons for the doggies strength as a club is supporters like him.
