With the Legs convincing 33 point win tonight they've moved into the top 5.
Here are is the ladder as of Friday 1st June:
TEAM PL W L D FOR AST PERC PTS
CD 7 7 0 0 804 491 62.08% 14
EAG 7 4 3 0 723 663 52.16% 8
PA 8 4 4 0 771 718 51.78% 8
NWD 8 4 4 0 760 774 49.54% 8
ST 7 4 3 0 588 648 47.57% 8
NA 6 3 2 1 529 473 52.79% 7
SA 7 2 4 1 567 745 43.22% 5
WA 7 2 5 0 625 733 46.02% 4
GL 7 1 6 0 521 643 44.76% 2
Question is with 3 games remaining this round can they maintain their position. One must say they've really turned their season around in the last few weeks. Good on ya leggies

I think the ladder is redundant until all teams have played the same number of games. Use the 'L' column to judge the order better. Dogs top, Norf second, the rest can kick sh!t out of each other for the next couple of months.

Agreed, but it is a good talking point and looks funny when the team with the 2nd best percentage isn't in the 5, even if it is only for 18 hours.

Highly confident mate. Probably should be with the recent record at Alberton!

Jars has never lost at Alberton and I think the margin has increased each time, I doubt that will continue tomorrow because of the weather but I still think we can win the game.

It looked even funnier that near the end of the last round, a team with a 50/50 win:loss record (Port) was second. (And it would still be the case if only the Eags had lost, or won by a bit less.) That can't happen too often.

Agreed, Port have lost to teams like Norwood and Glenelg yet North who have only lost to the Dogs can't catch them!

I don't think it is redundant when you look at the line # nine....speaks volumes...

The stat you mentioned was the portent, you read it wrong though. The trend continues...

Is the ladder starting to work itself out?
I suspected with Port having so many home games and losing to Norwood, Sturt and Glenelg away that they weren't up to standard and that was shown today.
Is it just a matter of Centrals, North and the Eagles with the rest being a waste of space like last year?

Think you are OTM ..... it will be interesting after North play Eagles to get a rough idea on the pecking order after the Doggies

TEAM PL W L D FOR AST PERC PTS
CD......8 8 0 0 804 491 62.08% 16
NA ....7 4 2 1 529 473 52.79% 9
EAG....7 4 3 0 723 663 52.16% 8
NWD...8 4 4 0 760 774 49.54% 8
PA .....9 4 5 0 ??? ??? 49.37% 8
ST ....7 4 3 0 588 648 47.57% 8
SA.....7 2 4 1 567 745 43.22% 5
WA ...8 2 6 0 625 733 46.02% 4
GL ....7 1 6 0 521 643 44.76% 2
And this is what the table looks like tonight. (minus the correct percentage for West, North and Centrals)
Sturt slip out of the five for the first time this year.
*Edit- Thanks Aerie for Port's correct percentage, which sees them dip to 5th. Norwood will remain in the five regardless of what happens tomorrow.

Port's percentage has copped a bit of a battering. Down to 49.37% which puts them into 5th spot and possibly out of the 5 if Sturt wins tomorrow. Given they have played at least one more game than everyone else, they are not sitting in a strong position.
