I thought it was great that Westies took their U17 side for the pre game today, it cant be easy for parents to see their kids move down to the city as youngsters to follow a hoped for football career. To have your lad playing back in your own area must feel pretty good. It certainly wont hurt Westies chances of having more kids come down to try out for the club.

So Victor Harbor and the Riverland are covered, it would be good to see Moonta and Whyalla given a go to host an SANFL game next year!

Agreed... country games are the best.

Whyalla is a long way out, the Magpies would need some convincing I reckon. North Adelaide could go for a match at Port Pirie, that's about the same distance as Berri. I would go there if Centrals were playing there.

Port Adelaide would likely be interested if they could break even or even show a positive return on the gate. Port are looking into the number of games that they have at Alberton as opposed to at Adelaide Oval, so maybe a game in their country zone could well be an attractive option, I think that they wouldent have too many problems selling the game out!

Christ, I hope Port never move a North game away from Alberton.

Well done to the both clubs. Prehaps next time West decides to play a game we might do it in the Mallee
