They are sub par and if they are to have games there in future they must be upgraded. You have to get a pass out to go to the toilet, and pies/pasties ect weren’t even close to being hot.

Facilities at Thebby are like the Hyatt compared to Glenelg's bloody toilet block. (And Prospect isn't much different).
Thebby has cheap beers at the Hindmarsh bowling club, accessbile toilets that work, a BBQ.
I do have an issue with the price of beer at grounds other than Prossie though, $5 for a beer, FFS.

What was happening on the field was enough for this little black duck.

I must say I wasn't impressed too much on ANZAC day there either whilst I did not use the thunderboxes at all I was standing nearby and nowhere near enough of the Kenard's hire boxes were provided. On the food and beverage front my pasty was as cold as a maggot and my coke was as hot as pi**. didn't sample the beer as I was too scared to find out what they served up

BBQ was hot and nice, Beer was cold, and the permanent toilets worked a treat.

Good idea, I stood at the Northern End and in front of the Grandstand but its even better on the South Rd side where with a quick walk you can get $1.00 BBQ sausages and cheap beers from the Hindmarsh Bowling Club.
If you're silly enough to stand on the southern side walk to the Royal at half time as they have a Pint of Pale and Schintzel for $10! There's always the West Thebby too.
You can't go wrong at Thebby, best spot in the state for SANFL as far as facilities go.

This years ANZAC day game was my first time back there since Pooraka beat Flinders Park for the SAFA Div1 flag many moons ago and I stood at the Northern end in front of the broadcast box and I thought the toilets and bar was ok. I gave the canteen a miss though because of a long line up.

You sure you didn't come to Glenelg by mistake?

Thebarton isn't that bad - contrary to popular belief you can access toilets in the ground (and quite decent toilets at that), and while the lights need a bit of work if night games are ever to be played there, the facilities there are far superior to grounds like Coopers Stadium.

'83 was when the A"s won their first flag I think as I was playing u/18's there then, but there was a few other G.F's at Thebby after that as well.

Don't take Glenelg's mantle piece. We have the worst toilets (if you can call them that) in the league.

I must say I haven't had a problem with the facilities there. We've even got a permanant scoreboard up again now. Compared to other suburban venues I think Thebby rates quite highly. I'd love to see the number of games we play increased to 5. If only we can learn how to win there  .
