so who will go to all 4 games this week ? i will for one & i think it is great programming especially with no ballet` footy on

Good topic, looking at the draw I'd only be likely to go to one game but it is a good challenge to set someone to go to all 4.
Perhaps we could have a SAFooty SANFL crawl?

Norwood and Sturt at the Parade next week should be an absolute ripper.

Who would have thought before the season started that this game would make the Grand Final rematch pale into insignificance?

Can someone go to all 4 games and provide proof of it?

well as we've got closer to the weekend has anyone besides me decided to do the 4 games in 3 days ?

Well spotted bayman. What disappoints me is that I have seen very little evidence of the SANFL pumping this weekend up and urging AFL people to get along to a local game. (See my post on the AFL board).

I would have thought this weekend was the perfect opportunity for the SANFL to have an advertising blitz on radio and TV. To lean on the Tiser to pump the weekend up given they will not have as much to write about for the local clubs this week. To give away a bunch of free tickets to school kids that give an accompanying adult half price entry even.

There should be no excuse for anything other than bumper crowds across the board this week - but where is all the encouragement?

The only extra advertising is done to target the people who already go to SANFL games it seems.

Why not "open the gates" for the weekend and have free entry....do something out of left field for a change would be nice, they might suprise themselves

that is too intelligent for them, or even a gold coin donation to get some revenue but that wont happen, even globe derby opened the gates last saturday for people to see sokyola have a run & the crowd was almost double, but that showed some nouse not that some at gdp have but it wont happen in footy

hi guys sarge is back in red and black....... kudos to the sanfl for giving us a bye on its so called rivalry round..... port v glenelg i can understand same with sturt v norwood and the doggies v eagles but how are south and north rivals????????? i would like to know.....

i am not going to any games as i have to work tommorrow night saturday night and sunday night each night i start work at 430 so therefor making going to any games pointless. but shold still be a good weekend

sunday arvo no afl till 5pm. they decide to put one game on at noarlunga which is really going to attract a crowd. you fools. mindless. do they even care?

norwood sturt at norwood would have got 5000plus at parade sunday. port glenelg if at bay could have got 5 on sunday. make programme malleable

north south at noarlunga is a wasted opportunity. they are idiots.
