He looked terrible at Unley last week, just didn't seem to want to work hard enough - that said I thought he also looked injured .. Seemed to grimace noticeably after copping a bump to his shoulder.

Im his biggest fan as is well known and he did look ordinary last week so I wouldn't have been suprised even if it was just on form.
Having said that he does love playing the Bays and works best when Clive is playing.

He wasn't the hardest worker out there last week but
he was not the only one.

It does not help the bloke when we can not deliver
the ball even near the vacinity that he leads too.

Agreed, I don't think Unley Oval suited him too well either with most balls going over his head or nowhere near him, that was very noticable.

Well he ain't exactly happy at PA and who could blame him. He did cop a knock to his shoulder as he stated to a few us this week but he did admit he spent most of his time on the pine due to not being able to get into the game.

He is well and truly finished. He was just about done last year. He's unlucky with his timing - had North got it together 3 or 4 years earlier or he be 3 or 4 years younger, he may well have played in a couple of premierships by now. Pity he couldn't have finished off with North, even if just reserves this season as watching last Saturday, he looked as disinterested as I've ever seen any league footballer and he let his new club down.

I bet he kicks more goals in the next 4 weeks than Passador does.

Did other clubs look at recruiting him?. Three of ports recruits are now in the reserves...Jarjoura, Miller, And Hargy. IMO all are better footballers than reserves standard

His first few weeks were great when used as 2nd foil to Clive. When hes been the key focal point in the last few games hes barely had a kick and looked out of his depth.

As I said in a previous thread, if his heart isnt in it then he should retire immediately.

Miller can count himself lucky to be playing at all.

We are almost 1/2 way through the season .... can we admit yet that North made the right call or do we have to wait until the end??

We definately wait until the end of the year, if North win a premiership they made the right call, if they dont then its all hypothetical.

Not a bad point. Sometimes a player offers more than his abilities on the field and it would seem to me, from seeing him play and reading on here comments about him, he was a great club man. I reckon it was early 2004 and North played Eagles at Woodville and we were winning pretty easy, game was over and North got a couple back late in the game and the enthusiasm Hargraves showed and his positive energy really lifted the team and the North supporters in a hopeless situation and despite a loss, you could feel North were on track - which proved to be correct.

Playing wise? Yes the correct decision. Overall? We'll wait and see.
