In no way to be taken as excuse - just for info - unsure if matches to be lost - at best all will be test this week.

Inkster - hamstring
Batsanis - abductor
Cooper - knee
Schwarze - cork thigh

For the dogs, James Gowans tried to run out the game, but in the end just limped it out. Probably a corky. MacKenzie was used very sparingly, and Lawry rucked with Giles for most of the second half. Wondering if he too was hurt. Chris Gowans was also limping, but hard to tell if it was any more than usual. Adrian Wilson didn't line up. In the end some of the legends might have been feeling good about their chances of selection next week!

I'm sure it was his usual 27 but wasn't out there long enough for me to be sure!!

Grahaml
Reckon you're right about the legends - some of ours may need to be called upon to get a fit team!

cd, he definately wore no 37 as he pulled his hamstring in front off me, (no jokes there please) so i saw it clearly & he is listed in the budget as no 37 as well, i'm just curious as to why the change ?

Yeah, he has been in 37 all season. Not sure why he changed! Someone give him back number 27! I did see young Mat Broadbent in number 27 in the ressies earlier in the year.

Bayman - i've no idea why the change - but you've got me interested now so I'll have to find out and let you know.

Woodwt - next 4 weeks critical in my opinion but i know the boys are determined to turn things around - beware the wounded Eagle!

Appreciate the info cd. While a hammy isn't good - I am glad it wasn't his knee. I really thought I may have seen the last of Inkster tonight when he went off with what I thought was his knee again.

Batsanis. How serious? Was close to being upgraded I would've though. Bad timing.

Too early to say if any of tonight's injuries are major but all will be at best a test for our next game against Port - hopefully all will be ok. Batsanis has been in good form as has Cooper and Schwarze finding his feet plus we need Inkster back and he has worked hard to be fit after his knee problem. So allround very disappointing for these guys tonight to cop an injury.

Woodwt - 10 games to go for us but at 4 wins 6 losses i think next 4 games critical - need to get the wins ahead of the losses but the fat lady aint singing just yet ! Need to turn it around and get the ledger positive though and i'm very confident our boys can and will do just that.

With fourth through to eighth so close it may be time to break out the end of season ladder calculator that was available on FootySA last year. I'm not sure who was responsible for it but I'm thinking someone with some decent excel skills could get it updated with this years fixtures and then set up a required link to provide access.

Note Project Management skills: it should be possible and somebody else should be able to do it

I thought Schwarze was an ankle injury CD. Just what we need on top of injuries to Hall, Colville, McKenzie and Passador.

Tim Inkster is definately in 37 now. he's taken Trent Hentschel's number.
