Playing surface was a joke - it was a case of spot the grass amongst all the dirt and mud. The lighting is absolutlely daplorable and the SANFL need to investigate maybe not playing night games until they get their sub par lights fixed, maybe even add an extra tower or 2. There were parts of the ground which were very hard to see. Lastly the catering - I had to visit 2 different canteens before I could get a hot pie and even then at best you could only call it warm. I'll also give you the big tip if you have 4 working in the canteen at least have 2 working on each side, these braniacs had 3 on one side and 1 the other - very smart obviously Have a good hard look at yourselves Central Districts with all the money you have and you still can't get facilities at the ground up to scratch. But that's OK isn't it you have GRAND CENTRAL - the place is like the taj ma hal or something. You can see where all the money gets spent. Last of all but not least how about investing in a couple of rows of seatd around the ground - it's a joke that one's only way of getting a seat is to bring a deck chair from home. Smarten up Centrals and you might find a few more people attend games at DOG PARK.

Point 1. Its Hamra Homes Oval our sponsors pay alot of money for naming rights. Get it right.
Point 2. Central District no such club as Central Districts.
Point 3. If more than 40 of the Eagles fans made the trek we would care for their fans opinion. Seeing I counted 30 fans in attendance your suggestions will be noted.
Point 4. Craps on both Thebarton and Woodville Oval put together.

Point 1 WGAF
Point 2 See point 1
Point 3 You can't count past 20, I'd say there would be more than 30 though and again, WGAF if you noted Eags' suggestion.
Point 4 More bullshit from the master. Call yourself what you want, the shite remains the same.

There is no doubt that the oval is not in great shape at the moment either. However, apparently it was in good enough nick for the ball to be bounced rather than having to be thrown up so the actions the club is taken to limit football there must be having a small positive effect.
As for the lighting, all I can say is that I have spoken to players from opposition clubs about it and they seem to be quite satisfied.
Cheers.

bayman wrote:i think the lighting at elizabeth is fine, personally i think it is better than at norwood as for the ground yes it is very heavy & central are training at other venues so not to cause more damage to it, it seems to me that your having a whinge because you lost, but no matter what the conditions if you get to the ball 2nd you'll run 2nd in the match & that is what happened

bulldogproud wrote:I take it there was no crowd trouble at Hamra Homes last night? The fact that all the criticism is about the oval and the lights may well be because they have nothing else to complain about. The same thing happens every time Central have a win. Opposition supporters try to 'bring Central down'. It is either the supporters being feral, the canteen, the condition of the oval or the lights. Is it all to deflect attention off the poor performance of the team that played Central? I mean one supporter this weekend even went so far as to say Central were responsible for it being 'too cold' for them last night!!!!! *grins*
