HALVELBURG 14-1
NORWOOD.....8-5

Dazzling Daniel Hamra Havelburg amazing effort
Stats close to
17 kicks
9 handballs
10 marks
14-1 :prayer: :prayer: :prayer:

19 years old
8 games
189 height
90 kilos approximately
24 career goals

Fresh faced teenage rampage forward SWEETly excillerated today at Hamra Oval
When he had his 4 pieces of toast this morning he could never have expected
to score 14 amazing goals.
With Cowans injured and Westoff playing in the AFL, CD may have been worried
about having enough key forwards this year.
Dazzling Danny has played a few games at half back and today made history

Dazzling beat the previous record for CD held by Grant Coffee.
Melbourne/Richmond/Carlton are the clubs likely to have this talent next year

As for the game
CD record winning margin v NW by 158 poiints
I reckon the previous one of 100+ was in a NW premeirship year
NW had the record at about 133

CD by virtuoso of winning thier 10th game in 2007 have now cemented a spot in this years finals.

Final scores
HAVELBERG 14-1
CD OTHERS 20-6
NORWOOD 8-5

CD 34-7
NW 8-5

11 WINS = finals confirmation....

34-7 = 211 this double century is as good as Kevin Pietersons 228 v WI this year.

Great effort by Havelberg. To kick that score in any era, for any team against any team is one of the great FF performances in terms of stats and score.

He really impressed me earlier this year at Prospect and given his size and height and now he has shown what he can do then off to the AFL for him. Good luck to him.

Makes that 1975 game seem all the more unusual.
He has really developed in the last few weeks, and now has the confidence to take another step.
Awesome performance, his second efforts were as good as his first when required.

With Sponge out for the season and Wethoff in the AFL for paaaah he has a great chance to sell himself* this season. Good luck to the lad.
What toast was it he had 4 slices of?

I saw the scoreboard attendant change the scores three times for this match today.

6.2 to 1.1 - I thought that was quarter time. 10.3 to 3.2 or something like that - half time. 15.4 to 5.3 - 3 quarter time.

Then the next thing I know (just missing out on hearing the scores on the radio) I see this! Are these really the same Norwood players I saw at Thebarton three weeks ago? Mind you, this does stack up well for the '8 clubs playing to lose to Central in the GF' case.

Yes. 127 points against Sturt in 1969 was the previous.

Unfortunately Excel is playing funny buggers for me so all the stat facts that can come out of this, I can't find atm.

But ironically the last time a player kicked 14 goals in a match was none other than Mark Ducker in 1991. :)

Havelberg was fantastic today.

Also enjoyed Heath Lawry's bomb in the third quarter. In fact, it was a fantastic game all up.

So much for Norwood being the 'in form' team. In fact, for a side that capitulated as bad as they did the last time these two sides met, I was surprised Norwood rolled over and died that easily. The game was effectively over in 20 mintues.

Question

I am yet to see HAVELBERG play

Can someone let us know a bit more about the lad, how old is the lad, has he got the size to play in the AFL?

What a remarkable effort
