not Sunday as quoted on ABC TV nor as listed in programmes.

Eagles v West is now SATURDAY at Thebarton.

A very important game for the Eagles before we go into the bye.

Noted, this means that the Juniors need to hire a van for the equipment for the game at Richmind. This means that I will have to get a bus to and from the game.

Is a reason given for the date change cd...? Or is it a mix up...?

Both clubs would have notification..!

Dog_ger we put forward the suggestion as we feel we will have a better crowd at Thebarton on Saturday afternoon with the Crows Saturday night than if we played on Sunday. WAFC agreed to the change.

For our fans who also go to the Crows means a super Saturday of footy but with one day of the weekend still free rather than having to be organised for 2 days of footy.

Saturday 2:00pm at Thebby then leave around 4:40 or so to be at Football park by 5:10 for the Crows 7:10 game rather than leave home at say 4:15 to go to AAMI on Saturday then back up again on Sunday for a 2pm start.

Hopefully will mean a good crowd at Thebby for what is a very important game for WWTFC - a win puts us back to even with wins/loss and we owe Westies from earlier this season.

well i bit upset by the change as a person still playing in saafl find it very hard to get to saturday games, but if it is best for the club i would have to deal with it.

It's always a pleasure to watch football at Thebarton Oval. Hopefully we will have more than three matches there next year.

Thanks for the heads up CD, I trust that you will be at the match and not shopping at Kmart Kurralta park this week :)

I have to agree strongly with the critcism of the BBQ from anzac day. Harsh call perhaps for these volunteers, trying to raise money for their organisation. It was not a Eagles "home" game but rotary's organisation was far worse than an amateur hour setup. One small bbq, necessitating in serving up half cooked food, with no opportunity to catch up and produce anything that was not rare or rare to bloody as hell.
The line did not ever die down until half time finished because the food also did. No snags left, just half frozen patties of dubious origin which the budding jamie oliver had heated half through.

Makes me ill, remembering the horror, that was an anzac day lunch. Could have featured on Ramsay's kitchen nightmares.

-1 out of 10 leaves plenty of room for improvement. Hopefully the club can organise something better?

Ah do I detect some friction between the respective Torrens and Woodville camps....a de-merger perhaps...

Well I'll say 7 games at Woodville and 3 at Thebarton is perfect. And as for form etc., I'll say again, it matters only in the minds of the players, not the ground you are playing on.
