This is a real danger game for North, we all say that every week about our teams though don't we - except if you barrack for Centrals! We have to, for the second week in a row play a team that is coming off a huge 100 point plus loss. Added to North's problems is we could be be without at least 5 players:
Ryswyk - will miss his out wide run and pace
Allan - biggest possession gatherer and he was sorely missed in the middle when he got crunched at the opening bounce.
White - although not factored to play for us this year is still a big loss; we have Wundke to come back in at FF and he has done the job.
Wintle - can wn without him as it looks like his career may be over with this latest hammy set back
Motlop - should be rested to get this ankle right.
AND
strong whispers (and talked about on radio today) that Gill may get his chance this week with the Crows? He will leave a big hole to fill given he played most of yesterday on ball and was very good not to mention the fact he can play up fwd! Perrie also mentioned on 5AA that he will more than likely have to come back from injury via North so let's hope if the Crows get Gill we get Perrie (if passed fit this week) to still give us the 3 talls in the fwd line that seems to work well for us in our game plan.
So possible in's: Wundke/Delvins/Gallman - all unlucky to be dropped in any case but as for covering Motlop and Gill it's anyone's guess at this stage but could Sarge be one?

Possible ins for Norwood are Massie, Jericho and Campbell depending on the Cows.
Even without them guys I'd be wary of a Norwood unit looking to restore some pride!

Massie still in Crows starting 18.
Nick Gill named as emergency for the Crows (along with Dougls, WTF? surely this kid should be in??)
Cambpell down as a test, no mention of Jericho so I assume he'll be in for the Legs.

The original post asked ' Is this Norwoods last hope of the double chance'. Where have you been as they have got no hope and would be praying to sneak into the five.

Almost. It's Norwood's last chance at the 5... even though they're currently in it!

Good to see Allan has recovered in time for tomorrow.

He and Motlop won't be anywhere near 100 percent and neither will Ladhams who continues to struggle with "groin" issues but the smaller cramped ground will help them get through.

Why are we playing them then? Surely we have more depth in the side this year than previous years. We need players that are 100% fit and can play for 4 full quarters. Norwood have done ok in the wet this year and a heavy ground will stretch the fitness of the 100 percenters.
Don't get me wrong Allan has been outstanding this season and would be difficult to replace at anytime, but IMHO if we are going win today, we will need to be up for it for 4 qtrs with fully fit players.

I think you will find that the majority of players this time of the year are carrying niggles etc and only a handful would be near enough to 100 percent. Allan has to play as clearly evidenced by last week that when he couldn't play on the ball from about the 5 minute mark we struggled to get any clearances despite the efforts of Kaesler, Lads and Younie. Allan is the most vital player in our line-up at the moment.

Well I hope we get at least some of them fit for the finals otherwise we'll end on a similar note to the last 3 years when injuries have cost us big time in the big matches.
