Magpie Under 19s

Postby pipers » Tue Jul 03, 2007 1:35 am

Anyone seen these kids play this season?

Are they as good as the scores suggest?

Was thinking that rather than make the trek down to Noarlunga to watch the seniors (espeicially given that we visit there twice in a month) I might go and check the youngsters out*.

Call me a front-runner if you wish, but Noarlunga really is a hole.

From what I've seen of them, they are a pretty good side. We pushed them for about 1 and a half Qtrs, then they slowly kicked away last Saturday.

Both the junior teams are playing excellent footy this year. And last as well. 19s won the flag and 17s lost in the GF after being clearly the best side all year. Got some very exciting juniors coming through.

In the U17's the Eagles have beaten Port twice this year. Both by less then a goal.
