Weekly tribute to the Greatness of Sturt

Postby Punk Rooster » Mon Jul 09, 2007 2:17 pm

I will save Sturt supporters the ridicule & start the thread myself....

Sturt are great because they...
won/lost/had the bye
have pokies/don't have pokies
players play for the love of the jumper
have the best supporters & sponsors etc.....

Geez could have killed two birds with one stone there and simply added "and North"

Like the rest of us we are very worried about the resurgent Blues both on and off the field and personally speaking we should surrender now and save the pain later on in the season when Sturt storm to a much deserved flag because clearly based on the fact your team beat Centrals and no-one else has, there is no hope for any of us mere mortal clubs.

north are great because Atkinson and Squire played for them

and heuskes wore a dress.
But it was more than a victory for Greece. It was a stirring example to free people throughout the world of what a few brave men can accomplish once they refuse to submit to tyranny.

Great thread Punky! Although a week is a little long to wait, couldn't we have a "daily" tribute? I don't think there would be any problems seeing with how everyone's talking about Sturt recently.
GO YOU BLUES!
Cheers! :D v
