MEDIA RELEASE
ROUND 14 LEAGUE CHARGES WITHDRAWN

The SANFL wishes to advise that the two League reports from Round 14 have now been withdrawn.
Following a video review of the incidents, umpires Tony Dey and Tim Pfeiffer have withdrawn the charges
against James Gowans (Central District) for allegedly striking Sam Rudolph (Glenelg) and Matthew Cooper
(Woodville-West Torrens) for alleged high contact against Jesse Smith (West Adelaide).

Because of course the Westies Game would have been a "danger game" without a Gowans

No, just sick of everyone branding them thugs, yet their rap sheets would say otherwise. Neither of them would be definite starters against West as both limped off at different stages of the game yesterday.

No problem with you posting LBT, never had a problem with it. A bit touchy there mate.
I was only giggling at the posts made regarding the loud cheer that went up when he was reported. I'm sure you read those posts - and were maybe one of those who cheered.

Post all you like.

As for an ego zone...I don't need to come on here and post for an ego boost. Our boys just have to keep on winning and I'll keep smiling. ;)

Does anyone know what the Gowans boys records are? I have a feeling they have both been found quilty once each but not ever been suspended for games.
