"The North Adelaide Football club is pleased to announce the signing of centre half forward Clinton Alleway for 2008 and 2009.

After an injury interrupted 2006, Clint has shown his worth in 2007, with numerous stand out performances. He has polled very well in the SANFL Media Awards, and the Club feels he has certainly shown his worth with many dominant displays.

"I have enjoyed my time so far at North, we have a great team that is going places, a superb coach in Andrew, and administration most other Clubs in Australia would envy, I had no intention of going anywhere else. I am settled in Adelaide with my girlfriend Heidi, and have a job as a Teacher, so I look forward to continuing playing my part in our side as we strive to succeed" - Alleway said.

"Clint was keen to extend his contract with NAFC, and Andrew, Glenn and myself were very keen to oblige. Good centre half forwards are hard to find, and we are very pleased that we can include Clint in our future plans. He is a very good player and a great person, and we look forward to him being an important part of our push to become a consistent top 3 side in the SANFL" - Football Operations Manager James Moore said.

Good news for the Chooks!

Indeed it is, he is an awesome player and the type that could someday spearhead the Chooks to the promised land ... After a few near misses I really feel that the Roosters have toned things down a little this year and seem legitimately prepared to let their actions do the talking
