Jars on Hargraves thread..

Postby Rushby Hinds » Tue Jul 17, 2007 4:26 pm

One of the most interesting threads ever on this board.

Locked with no explanation?

Please explain?

But the "sack Pyman" thread can remain open?

I'm sure there's a strong and valid reason, but without an explanation i smell a rat.
He's still my hero even if he is a little bit crap.

The reason is that the pro-NAFC bias on this site is stronger than the pro-ALP bias of the ABC.

Bring back footysa!

Doesn't look good does it!! We can bag everyone and anything except NAFC? I'm sure there is a valid explanation for the thread being locked, better be, or this sites owner has a big conflict of interest on his hands.....

It may not be Wedgie who locked it of course... There are 12 or 13 other moderators.

Probably a good thing though because I'd run out of material anyway...

Left wing bias at the ABC?, surely not comrade.
Back to the footy, Hargraves is a character, so is ANJ, both good for the game.

I'm sure there's a very good and sensible reason and will be posted here shortly by whoever locked it. If we hear nothing then we know it was simply because someone can't handle their club being bagged.

The thing I don't get though is that the criticism wasn't actually all that severe.

Jarman said something on Melbourne radio about the reason for a player not having his contract extened which was not previously widely known, which he probably should not have bothered to mention. The reason was to make himself look like a "tough, no-nonsense" coach.

I then reminded people that Jars once flashed his bum. Granted this was not relevant to the thread but then nor was the story Jars had told.

Then someone suggested I shouldn't throw stones because surely I'd done something equally stupid in my sordid past.

Then some innocent trees got dragged into the debate and someone swore at me and then the thread got locked.

Well, we're all for the environment at this website. And when those trees were brought into it, we thought "save them while we can", otherwise Joni Mitchell would be bagging us in song about pulling out trees and putting in a parking lot.
