Chambers has 7 games plus probably at least 2 finals to kick 31 goals if he doesn't get injured.
Has to be a monty for the first 100 goal kicker in a long time surely?

The last time someone kicked 100 goals in a SANFL season was Hodges or someone like him, I think. S.Morphett kicked 99 in 1991, that's the closest that I remember.

Yep Hodges is the only bloke to have done it since the latest bye came in.

2004 Shchell 74
2003 Bradshaw 97
2002 Hargraves 68
2001 Richardson 84
2000 Richardson and C Kluzek 72
1999 Richardson 66
1998 Richardson 85
1997 J West 80
1996 Hodges 117
1995 Delrae 92
1994 Hodges 129
1993 Tylor 90
1992 Tylor 97

Hodges is also the only player to have kicked 100 goals in a 20 match season (In that list). 1991, 92, 94, 95 are the 22 round seasons in there. Passador only had 79 goals last year.

I have a list up to the round before last; I will post up to last round tomorrow.

You would think so and in this day and age (and even allowing for the fact that the SANFL is not like the AFL in game style and tatics) 100 goal FF's are going to be almost as rare as rocking horse sh*t if not now, so Chambers if he gets it will be creating a modern day rarity.

Brad Smith from Subiaco has 85 goals so far this year. Not sure how many games though

Hmm, day after this topic starts and there's an article in the 'Tiser about Chambers, Goalkickers and his likelihood of getting an AFL gig, we really should get some sort of royalty from other media outlets at times!

There was a time when the first place I'd look for these sort of stats was in the Advertiser - no more :(

I couldn't even find a list of the official SANFL site!
