Spoon Day

Postby Jimmy » Sat Jul 21, 2007 10:35 pm

when is it this year? for those who have been a part of it in recent years, when can/will it be? I see that west v south is in rd 19, too early to predict a spooner from then but if west win that, it will certainly make the last few rounds interesting......

thoughts anyone?

Sadly, the honourable tradition of SPOON DAY loses much of its oomph when the lucky recipient is the same team which won it last year. Trust Sturt to bugger things up by not doing the right thing last year by coming last

Agreed, we were much worse in 2003 than what West are this year.
We copped all the jokes back then though, so there's no reason you shouldn't now. Mind you at least both of our clubs have made the finals this century unlike one black and gold team (or yellow and black if you listen to their stolen song)
