But he was sacked before the bye.

We played a stirring inspirational game and no one was there......

And what's in all reality the difference? Probably that no-one currently at the club was willing to destroy any chance of future coaching aspirations by taking the care taker role although Brodie couldn't careless after his effort at Sturt late last year?

A danger game for the Blues, it will be a mental battle this one as it was last week.
But it was more than a victory for Greece. It was a stirring example to free people throughout the world of what a few brave men can accomplish once they refuse to submit to tyranny.

Agreed Jimmy, we should win and win well. However, sillier things have happened. Nervous about this one...

I expect Westies to come out fired up for this one. Come on Blues, a real test of character. Will need to be mentally focussed throughout and playing at our best. West have pushed us in both encounters so far this year and now possibly have more to play for and can make Weed suddenly become the fall guy with a resurgent performance. On top of that, almost every side has had the reality check this year. Only Central has remained impervious to sudden displays of power from an unexpected source, and acquitted itself very well in its only (and narrow loss) to date. I am hoping for a switched on Sturt to give West the full blast of its power for four full quarters, and walk away with the two points.
GO YOU BLUES!!!
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

IMO the only wat Sturt will lose this one, and I say Sturt lose this one rather than Westies win it, is if Sturt are too complacent after their great win last week, and to be honest I can't see that happening.

They have been pretty good most of this year and I wouldn't expect West to get anywhere near them.
