Today Ron coached his 100th win as our league coach.
I think after 6 and half seasons with finals he would have coached maybe 150 games so his winning record is about 67% .
A pretty good success record i'd reckon.
Perhaps Spelly can give more accurate details.

- Code: Select all
Team P W L
Central 25 7 18
Glenelg 17 15 2
North 18 14 4
Norwood 17 11 6
Port 21 12 9
South 17 14 3
Sturt 19 15 4
West 19 12 7
Total 153 100 53
A good winning % rate (65.4) but before anyone says that it means that one flag from that is not good enough, you must consider that only one other time a side has beaten Central in a
final in this time. No other team has had more wins against Central in this time, and only Norwood and Port have a better win/loss %.

Kudos to Ronnie. That's a great effort. CD do you have any idea as yet whether he may go on again next year.

Congrats to Fuller on 100 wins. He always seems to get the Eagles playing physically hard and always willing to put the body on the line, which is always good to watch as a supporter. Also greatly appreciate his coaches comments every week, which are honest and well written and keep those of us not involved closely with the club informed.

Ron Fuller has had to endure a lot of inuendo, rumour and speculation during his tenure at Oval Ave and it's to his credit that he has been the most successful coach of either the Eagles, West Torrens or Woodville (also the longest serving of either as well).

Yes he's often copped that old chestnut of 'the players aren't behind him'
FFS how many times do we here this about a coach? Funny it always goes away when the team is winning

Eaglehaslanded - only one thing on the agenda for all players coaches officials including the board and that is playing in the finals this year - so concentrating on this weeks game.
