I read with interest, the blog on 'Jesper' the not-so-friendly-tosser & it got me thinking about the quality of sports 'writers' here in Adelaide. :(

Did anyone else pick up the 'Soccer-roos article' in the Sunday Mail & see the photo captioned with "Mark Viduka after his missed penalty attempt last night"... Err newsflash Mr. Editor, he didn't take one !!!! (File photo) :? .

The 'coverage' of SANFL is virtually non-existant, except for 2 pages on Friday & a paragraph here & there about Crows or Power players trying to break into their respective teams.

Rucci !!@@##!!##$$##!!!!###

It was a very sad day when we lost our afternoon paper in this town, the bias & ill-informed comment that is 'spruked' continuallly via these 'tabloid trash' journalists, rarely ceases to amaze.

THANK YOU safooty.net & other similar sites.
Without (generally) well rounded & INFORMED comment on here, TRUE SUPPORTERS of the SANFL would have nothing.

I Thank You.

Even The Australian got in on the act today - apparently Carlton coach Brett Ratten has coached "Adelaide suburban team Norwood" rather than "Melbourne suburban team Norwood".

It's all about doing your homework ... it seems as though some journos don't research hard enough.

At least the forum's friend Mr. Hook gives credit (e.g. to Spelly for his stats)!

What about Matty Slade being written up as one of the men involved in the Diane Brimble fiasco? I've stopped buying the paper until the standard increases as I see this as the only way they will eventually change anything.
