Yes, well done to the two champions.

Jade has been a wonderful servant to the SFC after coming down from Mildura.

Nelo, after a very ordinary 2006, has set an extremely high standard for his team in 2007 and is playing a wonderful brand of hard, skillful footy which brings the running players like Crane and Sheeds into the game.

Both boys deserve a big win! Let's hope the team respond accordingly.

Richmond never provides a big crowd but I would urge all Sturt supporters to get to the game and give the milestone lads some great support.

Typical of the kind of breathless self aggrandizing Sturt supporters are famous for to post a thread about their players reaching a milestone game in a forum dedicated to the SANFL. Whatever next? Supporters being happy about their team winning? Good lord....

Heroes is a bit strong in terms of describing them? What heroic deeds have they performed on or off the field for the Sturt FC or for anyoimne else for that matter. Maybe they served in Iraq in the off season and did something heroic over there and we all missed it?

Then again we should be used to SP "going over the top" in his open affection for his blue boys?

I'm sure for many of us who tune into 5AA we surely can expect to hear him call in about these two Sturt "heroes" sometime on the weekend?

Yeah, I don't get that either. The Bali thing was obviously a tragedy and certainly changes the people who it impacted.

Burton has done some great work since then, and Weatherald openly showed just how it affected him.

Yeah "hero" is probably a bit of the top. To think we nearly lost Jade Sheedy a few weeks after he won the Magarey after what I was told of the incident. Jade has been pretty silent on the events of that night and we should respect that.
