Here, here...

The epitome of the words "True Blue".

Come the end of the season they may both be Margarey Medallists too!

Yes, well done to the two champions.

Jade has been a wonderful servant to the SFC after coming down from Mildura.

Nelo, after a very ordinary 2006, has set an extremely high standard for his team in 2007 and is playing a wonderful brand of hard, skillful footy which brings the running players like Crane and Sheeds into the game.

Both boys deserve a big win! Let's hope the team respond accordingly.

Richmond never provides a big crowd but I would urge all Sturt supporters to get to the game and give the milestone lads some great support.

Go Blues.

Typical of the kind of breathless self aggrandizing Sturt supporters are famous for to post a thread about their players reaching a milestone game in a forum dedicated to the SANFL. Whatever next? Supporters being happy about their team winning? Good lord....

Heroes is a bit strong in terms of describing them? What heroic deeds have they performed on or off the field for the Sturt FC or for anyoimne else for that matter. Maybe they served in Iraq in the off season and did something heroic over there and we all missed it?

Then again we should be used to SP "going over the top" in his open affection for his blue boys?

I'm sure for many of us who tune into 5AA we surely can expect to hear him call in about these two Sturt "heroes" sometime on the weekend?

C'mon Drebin. If you're not having a go at Sturtpeter, you're sarcastically on at Phil Herden to provide updates on which players are 'jumping ship' at South, after he has graciously offered to provide score updates throughout tomorrow afternoon?

Get up on the wrong side of the bed this morning mate?

We are all VERY aware that SP offers a little more poetic licence when posting about his Blues, but do you have to point it out everytime?

Trolling mate. Pure and simple.

Here is a video tribute dedicated to the two Sturt heroes playing their 150th games. I can't be sure, but I think sturtpeter is the singer. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PWlS8Oerx8o

FFS you complain about just about everything I post don't you!

I made a comment (a little sarcastic fair enough) but the fact is would you describe them as heroes??? Great clubmen, great players or even champions maybe but heroes FFS!

P.S. I'm the only one who points out SP's posts - I think not but then again I'm the only one in your sights though?

Complain? That is ALL you seem to do Drebin.

You're not in my sights, I actually think you know your stuff when it comes to SANFL footy and obviously the Roosters.

I just think 9/10 of your posts are negative and bitchy, unfortunately.

P.S Why don't you go and have a look at a couple of the responses to your negative, sarcastic go at Phil H on the 'Radio Score Updates' topic and maybe then you will realise I am not the only one who has picked up your vibe??

Gotta agree with Skeff, heroes may a bit over the top. Bali survivors (and victims) & war veterans are heroes. These guys are "just" champion footballers.

As a carpenter, Sheedy makes a good footballer... :-)

How is his hand anyway? Doesn't seen to have impacted his footy so that's good.

Meh...so you're a hero for being in the wrong place at the wrong time...

Heroes are whoever you want them to be.

Yeah, I don't get that either. The Bali thing was obviously a tragedy and certainly changes the people who it impacted.

Burton has done some great work since then, and Weatherald openly showed just how it affected him.

I don't think it makes them "heroes" though.

Yeah "hero" is probably a bit of the top. To think we nearly lost Jade Sheedy a few weeks after he won the Magarey after what I was told of the incident. Jade has been pretty silent on the events of that night and we should respect that.
