If we don't win this one then our double chance is just about gone and we may as shut up shop and not play finals full stop. It will take a massive turn around in form and most importantly attitude by North given our last two games.

We won't have Gill you would think - he would have to be given at least one more for the Crows even if he has a quite one today. Jars announced Friday night that we are very likely to get Damon White back this week but he is still listed with a 2-3 week knee so that might be wishful thinking.

I'm not ready to write us off yet.

Even though we've got a few tougher games coming up, this one is hugely important as well, as we need to get the season back on track.

Hoping for a 10+ goal win. 8)

This game is a Roosters win, they are not 3rd on the ladder by accident. Should win.
Having said that, they need to be on their game, as no team is easy this season.

North are going to up their game this week. The last two performances have been way below par and we will miss Nick Gill.

Expect Ladhams and Allan to come back into it this week.

Line up for me would be..........

FF Weatherley, Wundke, Ladhams
HF Kreig, Alleway,Younie
C Ryswyck, Sporn, Bamford
HB Hart, Schubert, Ivens
FB Cubillo, Gallman, Delvins

Ruck O'Hara, Allan, Howard

I/C Wakelin, Kaesler, Grose

Weatherley and Wundke are going to have to get their kicking boots on. IMO Ladhams does well when he is crumbing off the forwards and kicked about 5 against the Legs under the lights at Norwood and looked good that night.
Hopefully Ryswyck will be fully fit for this one and will give North that option back on the wings.
Jarman has to bring Schubert back in and if he does, hopefully North will get it right at the I/C and Schubert can play in the backs where he belongs.
Hart is a shoe in after last weeks game and surely it's time to reinstate Cubillo, Gallman and Delvins.

Close JTC but McIntyre will keep his spot at CHB, Schubert to play FB and Gallman to play two's - that is providing both Allan and Ladhams come up as both still in doubt. Allan should have this week off and bring him back close enough to 100 percent for the Central's game.j

North will shit it in ... Norwood are very poor at the moment and would have to pull one* out of the box to get anywhere near it.

Yeah, I was thinking that BPBRB. I just couldn't think who could step into cover for Allan, unless Younie stood in and Campbell came in at HF. Deliberately left Motlop (had too many chances for my liking) and McIntyre, as he doesn't seem to be up for it, (not sure why or even if it is just me and my friend the radio).
Not being anti AvFL, but I just think North can do without Motlop and McIntyre adn should give the players who performed for us earlier in the year when we needed them.
Watched the night game at Norwood again last night. Ladhams had a pretty decent game, kicked 5 and got a couple or 3 from crumbing of the forwards. Would like to see him in that role again.

Don't know whether to go see this game or the Dogs/Eagles.
The Roosters/Redlegs game has a lot riding on it for both clubs, but in the back of my head I keep thinking the Roosters will win comfortably.

same here les, i think i will listen to the north game as i think it has more riding on it, we know the dogs and eags will make the finals but the legs need a win to get there and the cocks need a win to reaffirm their top 3 status/potential.

should be a good game but i have that feeling of a 10 goal north win.

North supporters will no doubt be able to answer this question:

Whats the background of 17 year old Matt Wright who made his debut against Norwood, 4 goals and 16 possessions in his first game indicates hes got a lot of potential. Haven't heard much about him, no doubt this game has put his name into calculations for the draft at the end of the year..
