Hey Macca, where's your usual exceptional write-up?
I thought the Magpies were teriffic yesterday. Given the shortage of genuine forward targets, to get so close and nearly steal it was a fantastic effort. Unfortunately it doesn't really help us in the hunt for 5th place, but it should instill further self-belief in the team.
Mark Clayton - simply awesome.
Miller - best game he's played in the black & white
Mardling - got plenty of it - unfortunately can't kick over a jam jar, but he'll get there...
Murray - fantastic hard game once again...
Perkins - probably his best game...
Dipper - started like a house on fire. A bit quiet in the latter stages, but still in the best.
I think we gave the Dogs a little bit of a fright - sure they're experimenting a bit, but maybe they should save that for South or West.

Yes, well done to Port on running Central close on Saturday. As all Central supporters know, no game against Port at Alberton is easy and apparently this was the case once again. Well done to our boys too for ending up with the points. It was a win which we did not expect as we are at the experimental stage of the season and also going through our hardest training period of the season. If we can go 50-50 with wins and losses over the next four weeks we will be doing better than expected. Would anticipate the Eagles winning over us next weekend, particularly as they are needing the win to take third spot off North.
Cheers!

Macca,
Sorry to hear of the family member. I am hoping that the reason you can return this week is that they have improved sufficiently.
Cheers!

Guys, if I don't seem myself with some of my posts at present, just wanted to let you know that my girfriend's mum passed away on the weekend. If you could keep her in your thoughts, I would truly appreciate it.
Cheers

I hate the media sometimes, and not just football journos. My girlfriend's mum is the lady who passed away from Q Fever in Waikerie on Friday. Three days after the death a journo had the gall to ask whether the family wished to pursue compensation. If only they could just let her rest in peace and allow the family to mourn her passing!
Sorry, just had to say it.

massive call in the sunday mail in the write up on this game.
the writer of the article after seeing centrals beating Port has labelled the dogs Finals contenders.
big call with Centrals 14-1 for the season.

Thanks, Macca.
Spent the last four days with Sheree (my girlfriend) at Barmera. The family have been wonderful in the way they have handled things. The funeral was actually a joyous occasion, reflecting on the life of a wonderful lady. They are an amazing family.
Thanks for all your warm thoughts, guys. They meant a lot.
Cheers
