for those that have a budget from this week look at the port squad & there is 2 no 7's, yep no big deal there just a misprint but the 2nd no 7 is brett ebert insted of brad ebert, even that i could understand to a degree but when they give bretts stats no that i can not accept, as while the budget doesn't make many blues it has on this occaision & a bad one at that, there should be (if there isn't) a proof reader for the leagues official publication

In fairness, they do have a new editor after Kieran Hall left after many years, so still settling in by the sounds.

This is completely off topic, but did anyone see the male jockey's reply, in the "Culture Vulture" column in today's Sunday Mail, in reply to "Who is your celebrity crush, he replied "George Clooney. He smoulders."

Not that theres anything wrong with that

Damn them for getting one player in 200 wrong! Next you'll be complaining that Mardling has been ripped off the 800 grams he had in last week's budget!

Incidently what number does (or did as would be more appropriate) Brett Ebert wear for the magpies? I suspect the budget just got "B Ebert" in the team and didn't realise it was Brad, not Brett.

After the bays Houdini act to get closer to securing a finals berth (and also very slim top 3 chances) I wouldn't be tempting Karma too much.

Good luck to Kieran Hall in his next venture.
The Budget's a good read. He's done a good job.

PS: The Budget wasn't the only one to make a Brett Ebert mistake this weekend. An ABC journo referring to Ebert's four goals in the sports report last night said "the Power's Brett Burton kicking a number of goals", then showed vision of Ebert bagging one of his goals.

Brett Burtonnnnnn????

Accept it guys, mistakes happen, you make them in your own line of work.....does everyone bag you about that?
