Souths coach for 2008

With recent events, no doubt advertisments will soon be going out for the coaching position at South Adelaide, here is my list of potential coaches that they should approach, feel free to add to it!
John Schneebichler - A champion South player in the 1980's, won many many games off his boot alone. Easily the best South Adelaide player of the 1980's. A proven SANFL coach at Glenelg juniors. My personal first choice for the job.
Luke Darcy - It wouldnet be a bad move for South to recruit a coach that is a champion AFL player and in touch with modern AFL coaching methods. Darcy wore the jumper for the Panthers as did his Father David. Darcy is a good example of someone who if brought into the club would have no doubt at all about his commitment to South Adelaide and his passion for the South Adelaide jumper. He would be able to coach by example and would have instant respect from the playing group.
Scott Watters - ex West Coast, Sydney and Freo AFL player, winner of several best and fairest awards, a great WA footballer with talent to burn. Current coach of Subiaco and has won the premiership with them once and a good chance of doing so again. A proven example of an AFL player that has made the jump to coaching and is successfull at it.
Michael Nunan - Michael coaches with a particuarly tough hard gritty style of football, South could do with toughening up on the field as I think that this is one of our major problems at present. The job that Nunan did with North is not unlike our situation now, Nunan made North competitive and led the club to win a premiership as a result. However in order to do the job he has to be given full support to clean out the list and recruit the staff that he needs to do the job. Nunan is a natural leader and has to be able to work that way or it wont come off.
Phil Carman Took Sturt from an absolute basket case and made them competitive, did the job with slow steady persistance like a hammer on cold steel. South members must believe in him and have patience if he is to achieve the same result with the Panthers.
