He fought Ali & Frazier in back to back fights in 1973, then Ali again in ‘75. He lost all 3 bouts on points but was the only man both fought but neither knocked out.

The boxing world is paying tribute after former world champion Ricky Hatton, who dethroned Kostya Tszyu to end his legendary career, was found dead. Police are not treating the death as suspicious.

He was 46.

Saw it mentioned last night. Apparently he was considering a comeback of sorts. Had been going through a fairly rough time mentally since he retired and at the end of the article it had the helpline number

On the podium of the best baseball movies ever, I find it really hard to split The Natural, Bull Durham & Major League.
