Has anyone been brave enough to watch Adam Sandler's "The Ridiculous 6"? It got a rating of 0% from 27 critic reviews on Rotten Tomatoes.

Unwatchable. I fell asleep about the 20 minute mark and caught the last 20 minutes when he basically becomes a superhero. Not sure I have seen a worse movie in 2015.

Wouldn't the first movie be warning enough?

I tend to steer clear of anything with Kevin James.

Most of Sandler's post-2000 output is shite.

I really liked Funny People though.

Sandler films are what they are and he makes no bones about it being what it is.

I enjoyed Pixels. Maybe it was the nostalgia. But I did think it was clever and funny.

True. Irrespective of whether they receive critical acclaim Sandler's films make plenty of money. As Lisa Simpson once said, "you'll never go broke subscribing to lowest common denominator".

Just saw the trailer for the new Ghost Busters movie, and felt overwhelmed by the feeling that it would be unfunny, boring as bat shit and quite annoying in patches. If the trailer is a highlights package of the movie then I would find more entertainment conducting a year long study attempting to predict the number of expected seagulls on Adelaide Oval for any weather condition, time of day or scheduled sport. I don't think I have ever had such a reaction to watching a trailer, but it really exceeds any measure of decency on the old shitometer. This has the potential to be one of the most pointless and crap movies ever, unless some editor has sifted through the footage for the least interesting, borderline annoying scenes and decided to use them as advertising points for this movie. The experience was so window-licking stupid that I became tempted to smash the computer screen before me for having conveyed that content to me. But you can't shoot the messenger, and I can't be bothered finding the master tapes to what will surely be a god awful film and smashing them. I think the English language just doesn't have adequate words to convey the idea of stupid, meaningless crap that this trailer has formed in my head.
Final verdict: so terrible I wouldn't use the DVD to wipe my arse after a week of eating fermented fish head curry, I quite frankly believe the movie to be less valuable to what would be dripping out of my butt in that situation.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

"Hail, Caesar", the latest Coen brothers film. Not a 'worst movie' by any stretch, but given what they're capable of, it's pretty disappointing. An all-star cast put to waste.
