Same here.

The first time I watched it - same. I did give it a second go, and suddenly, it "popped" for me and I find it very funny, even on repeated watches.

while i very much like the film 'dual', i don't understand why the truck driver did what he did, as to me the was no reason for 'road rage'.........for those that haven't seen it, watch it you'll be entertained
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Inception - saw it in Gold Class with Ms. Southee ...listened to all the hype...walked out at the end after 2 and a half hours of self indulgent crap from a director trying to out smart his audience. No idea WTF it was about.

Pulp Fiction - as another poster said "very overated".

Eraserhead - David Lynch movie...enough said really. (He was the director of Mullholland drive I think) Strange film.

The Saw films - tried to watch the first one. I am a horror fan but it was too much for me.

Read the (graphic) novel. I loved the movie myself; thought it did good justice to the novel. Some of the scenes recreated the frames from the novel perfectly.

I've read some very good interpretations of this film which helped me understand what it might have been about. Of course only Mr. Lynch knows exactly what it was about, and he ain't telling!

oh, and Inception sucked.

And the only good thing about Dazed and Confused was the title, which described exactly how the movie left me feeling.

Drugstore Cowboy. Or any film with gratuitous drug use really. Or any film with Matt Dillon in it. Oh, and any film by Gus Van Sant for that matter.

Good movie, but I doubt anyone truly understands the story on initial viewing.
Have to admit I had to do some digging on IMDB to gain a better insight into what was really going on.
Recommend a repeat viewing -if only for a couple of scenes ;)

Count me in the confused ones too
Can anyone tell me what IMDB is so I can do some research to try and de-muddle the story please

Johnny Depp in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998)

Pretty obvious the director was on some serious drugs making that film. :?
