4 weeks til Aussie Survivor starts again.
Interesting to see they are bringing the queen out for this season.
Surely she gets targeted very early on.

Hopefully a few players can have the foresight to use her as a shield and build a majority behind her and she makes it through to at least the merge.

Russel looked like he just wanted his appearance fee and to leave as quickly as possible.
Sandra more strikes me as interested in winning, rather than chasing the cash. She'll at least try.

Australian survivors

Currently binging and watching the 3rd ep.
The intro gives an indication of players who are around long term.
Not a bad start to the season.

Last night's twist just seemed like a 'oh cr@p, we've lost one to injury, quick, come up with a way to keep the numbers cause we need to stretch this out to day 50'.

I did laugh though.
Producer: "It's OK, she's just twisted her ankle, leave her in."
High up exec rings up the producer "She's a yank you idiot and will look for any excuse to sue us, send the Dr in again, change the prognosis and get her the hell out of there!"

Conspiracy theory time, she and her mum were on a pair deal, as soon as one was voted out the other was always going to fake an injury so they can go home together.

yeah agreed, the twist wouldn't have happened without the injury.
but it was still something a little different.

I certainly found it hard to believe she did that sort of damage in that scenario. Could be onto something Trader

I certainly didn’t understand Ben’s knifing of Croc. Wonder what he thought when he saw that Jesse was the one who wanted him gone  put his trust in the wrong person.

Yeah its all about the characters and building the tension between Mark and Sam rather than just presenting the game to us.

Glad you mentioned that, I'd have missed it otherwise.
Better rush home after cricket to make sure I get the start of it as the recorder isn't set!!!

Given this season was filmed before the last one aired, it will be the same as the last. They haven't had the chance to review how it played out and how it was accepted by the public.

It will be almost identical. 24 days, plenty of beware stuff. Random luck elements rather than game play and skill.

Its going to be harder to watch than previous american seasons, but still better than the aussie stuff.
