Finished off watching The Fighter last night, really good film.

While I was on Christmas leave I got to watch a fair few movies I had on my Netflix list.
Reservoir Dogs
American Psycho, great performance from Christian Bale.
Nortorious, finally watched that in full.
Creed, which was great- and the rest of the of the Rocky series before watching Creed, I hadn't seen Rocky 3 and 5 before. Loved 3 because of Mr T but 5 is just terrible.

Hacksaw Ridge. Fascinating story. The point of view battle scenes are intense and absolutely full on, makes the opening sequence of "Saving Private Ryan" look like something out of "Paul Blart Mall Cop".

Will have to differ on this one, got about 20 minutes in and found something better to do, like watching the '07 GF again.

Moana

Took the Mrs to see the latest Disney movie.

Really enjoyed it. The songs are catchy and pretty funny.

Recommend it for kids and adults.

Had seen this movie about, but wasn't really interested, but on way to Europe before Christmas the Junior Jases and I watched it on the plane.

Absolutely brilliant movie.

It was that good, that we all watched it again on the way back home...

The other night I watched Invincible.

It's about a guy from Philly named Vince Papale who tried out for the Eagles in the NFL at the age of 30 in the 70's.
It stars Mark Wahlberg. I had to search his name on Netflix to find it, so after it finished, the results were still on the screen, so i watched....

Shooter.
Can't believe this is 10 years old already. I remember going to the movies with my brother to see it. Quality action movie.

Saw "Jackie" on Saturday night. Mixed reviews from the crew I saw it with, but I thought Natalie Portman's performance of a post assassination Jackie Kennedy was pretty impressive. The narrative was originally told, it could've easily lapsed in the teledrama-doco stuff, but it jumped across different times in her life to keep it interesting. Not everyone's cup of tea, mind you.

Lawless

Set during the prohibition years in Virginia, it tells the somewhat true story of the Bondurant brothers who ran moonshine across county lines.

No matter what people say about him, Shia Labeouf is a great actor. Tom Hardy is pretty similar in all of his roles, but I'd say he's one of the more enjoyable actors to watch these days.

Pretty violent, interesting story. Second time I've seen it, and I'll probably watch it again at some point.
