Working from home, I've come to the conclusion that pretty much every midday movie is about:

- Rape
- Murder
- Affairs

Sometimes all three in the one movie...

When I had a few days off a couple of weeks ago I watched The Peoples Court. Being a fan of Judge Judy, I was interested in seeing what it'd be like.

Probably up there with Operation Repo as one of the worst shows on television.

I thought the first episode was all right. According to friends overseas it takes a couple of episodes for the show to get going.

Yeah my missus said she didnt really like the first episode, but then watched the rest of the season in about 2-3 days. She really enjoyed the rest of it.

If Judge Marilyn even dream of being Judge Judy she better wake up and apologize!

Funny enough, her predecessor - Judge Jerry - is married to Judge Judy.

That's right. Judge Jerry. And Judge Judy.

Lame sitcom waiting to happen...

I've always liked True Blood for it's quirkyness and the decent racks on display, but hopefully they wind the show up after this series because it's been deplorable - Last nights ep one of the worst Ive ever seen.

Series 6?

Just about to start S4.

Always find it hit and miss.

Be less forgiving if I wasn't such a vampire fan.

Not into zombies much but reakon The Walking Dead gets better with every series.

For some reason, it hit its stride halfway through S2...

Halfway through series two of The Walking Dead now. It would want to get better.

I was ready to give up at Ep 6 in S2.

And then out of nowhere, it just flipped (for me, anyway.)

S3 is the strongest by a long way...

Discussion spoiler:

Sophie emerging from barn was an epic scene and now adding the element of 'human vs human' to survival has piqued my interest.

But a number of characters get on my nerves. Rick's accent gives me the shits.

Surely Herschelle's accent makes up for it though?

I find the choices they are forced to make fascinating. Continual little (sometimes big) compromises on their values to survive.

About the point the show started to fall away. Series 1 and maybe the first half of Series 2 were good though.

Some pretty inventive zombie kills, too.

Find myself always cheering for the bad guys.

Merle, Shane, The Governor...

Funny how zombie skulls are now much softer than early seasons.

Merle was hilarious! The Governer made Mrs smac's skim crawl, which I found amusing.

Shane was a prick, couldn't get on his sie at all. Probably when he wounded the fat bloke to give himself time to escape.

Walking Dead has enough good moments to keep me coming back but man does it test the patience at times. Some of the characterisation (esp if you enjoyed the comics) is appalling - eg Michonne, Tyreese, the Governor. The entire season where they didn't leave Herschelle's farm OMG!

i thought the finale of offspring last was very well done. Missus was crying and it wasn't even 5 minutes into the show.
