So I married an axe murderer

I revisited this since I first watched it in cinema in the mid 1990's. It's dated but still funny.

PIPER DOWN!

Watched an old favourite the other night "School of Rock". Many classic lines.

I couldn't believe that it only just tweaked about two minutes in that "Sheila" from Shameless is the principal

Rewatched “Let it Ride” with Richard Dreyfus the other day. I’ve seen it numerous times but always find something to smile at. Very relatable if you are a punter and highly recommended watch even if you aren’t.

Is it a scary movie? Trailers look pretty freaky.

Now I realise I’m around 14 years too late on this one.

Inglorious Basterds.

Tarantino sure knows how to end a war!

Ad Astra, on netflix

Outer space movie, but more cerebral than flashy. Compares with Danny Boyle's "Sunshine" before the point where it turned into a slasher flick, or "2001: a space odyssey" without the trippy bits.

Nice to see a bit of realism in the physics. No flashy explosions with loud bangs in the vacuum of the lunar surface, for example. Though some feats towards the end, like surfing through Neptune's ring on a radar panel to transfer between spacecraft, did stretch credulity.

Worth a look if you like "thinky" movies.

I've watched a heap of movies over the past 4 months, most when I feed my daughter her last bottle of the day around 8.30 before she proceeds to fall asleep (on my Tablet with headphones in). I watched them in halves or in three parts depending how long they were.

Spiderman: Across the Spiderverse- Watched it at the cinema, great movie.

Guardians of the Galaxy 3- Pretty good like the previous two Guardians films.

John Wick Chapter 4- Entertaining but a series that has got more ridiculous as it's gone on.

The Pope's Exorcist- Pretty meh.

Tetris- Fantastic movie! Didn't expect to be as good as it was, the film I recommend most of the ones I've watched lately.

The Super Mario Bros Movie- Not great.

Batman- The Doom That Came to Gotham- A different take on an animated Batman movie which was pretty good actually.

M3gan- Brutal and freaky at times.

Dune- I didn't like it, just couldn't get into it.

Creed 3- Ok but not as good as the previous two, especially the original Creed.

65- Not bad, probably better than I thought it would be.

Shazam 2- Really no good.

Antman and the Wasp Quantumania- Really not as good as it should of been, the first Antman was a gem.

Black Adam- Meh but not as terrible as I thought it was going to be.

Death of a Gentleman- Watched this on YouTube, a must watch for any cricket nuffie. Features my man Jarrod Kimber and it's still as relevant today (if not more) as it was when it was made in 2015.

Anyone else on here seen Oppenheimer yet?
I saw it Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed it, it really drew me in and I have been reading, listening, watching more about Oppenheimer today and yesterday. I thought the sound was incredible.
Still though it doesn't surpass my favourite Nolan movies- The Prestige and Memento.

My 17 year old and his mates went and seen it and loved it, which surprised me. I thought they'd rather go to Barbie and stiffy up over Margot.

I worked up some brownie points and took 'er indoors to see A Haunting In Venice on Satdee nite.

Very good; arguably the best of Kenneth Branagh's Poirot movies so far. Good mix of atmosphere and whodunit.
