Dunno why I was thinking about bad movies during this morning's commute, but the following came to mind:

The Fisher King. Implausible and badly acted. Can't understand why people rate this so highly; nor can I understand how Terry Gilliam could make anything this bad, given his usual high standards.

Dead Poet's Society. Never, anywhere, anyhow, will a teacher EVER convince a bunch of adolescent males that it's cool to find a hiding place and read poetry to each other. Not even if they are a bunch of effeminate panty-waisted mother's boys.

LOL. When you think of it, that is a dodgy premise. It's still a good movie though IMO.

Yeah, I liked DPS too but when you put it like that, it does seem very very gay.

Have never seen TDPS, but I remember watching The Fisher King many years ago and absolutely loved it ... Can't remember why Pseudo, but will try to watch it again and get back to you.

Being a Jeff Bridges fan I also enjoyed the movie "Fearless" (I know wrong thread) and "Wild Bill" (although watching this one again recently it wasn't as good as I had recalled).

In the words of George Costanza, "Suddenly a new contender has emerged".

Don't ask how or why I started watching it, but "The Brady Bunch In The White House". Can't even begin to describe how bad this is. With none of the same kids as the first two movies, and a different Alice (so just Gary Cole and Shelley Long reviving their roles as Mr and Mrs Brady), the signs should have been there, but this is indescribly, shockingly, appallingly awful - and they were the best bits.

Rhinestone - Sylvester Stallone and Dolly Parton. Stallone plays a New York cab driver who country singing star Parton tries to teach to sing for a bet.

LOL. What a combination. They should have gone the other way with Dolly being Rocky's next contender. In the 'bout Rocky loses' he could have been floored by a right cross delivered from one of Dolly's collossal jugs only for Rocky to be trained in the art of breast deflation by new best friend Drago. Rocky VII it is with the 77 year old champ punching the tits off Dolly Parton. Now that's entertainment.

"Annaconda" I think it was called. Really, really bad movie about a giant snake, starring Mr Miyagi from the Karate Kid.

"The Star Wars Christmas Special", I followed a You Tube link from this site a while back and reaquainted myself with this baby via a video entitled "TSWCS in 5 minutes" or something.

Two totally, thoroughly, indisputably crap movies.
I challenge anyone to find a worse pair.

Production of the new Rocky movie has been stalled due to creative differences. Inside sources said that the producer felt like a 'right tit' about the production shutdown. Meanwhile a fight broke out between two of the hair stylists, apparently one was badly beaten around the ring.

boom tish.

Finally got around to seeing Aliens Vs. Predator: Requiem tonight and it's safely one of the worst horror/sci-fi movies I have ever had the misfortune of seeing. Crap and wooden actors, a nothing plot and insanely dark action scenes to the point you have to guess or assume what is actually happening. I didn't mind the first AVP but hopefully this sequel's success at the box office doesn't result in further milking of both of these once proud franchises.

FWIW, both of the AVP films are set after the two Predator movies but before the four Alien films.
