I saw Shang-Chi last night, a different Marvel movie but in a good way. It was a bit cheesy at times but still entertaining and had some very funny and awkward moments to bring it back down from being too ridiculous. The movie maintained the continuity of the overall MCU story and fits in nicely. Everything is always connected in these films.

Used a gift card to pay for mine and my mates ticket and the movie was played in the Titian Luxe which was a great experience.

I've now got a long list of upcoming movies I want to see-
The Last Duel (Looks really good)
Eternals
No Time to Die
Venom- Let There Be Carnage
The Matrix Resurrections (I hope this is good)
Spiderman- No Way Home
Uncharted
Doctor Strange- Multiverse of Madness
Thor- Love and Thunder

I watched the latest Suicide Squad movie last night, it was actually better than I thought it would be and it was an enjoyable watch. It completely shits all over the 2016 version.

I also recently watched Spectre in preparation to see No Time to Die. I found it to be ok, I'd probably put it in the Meh movies category.

I went to the cinema last night (it's been awhile) to see Spiderman- No Way Home. It's a very good film for the most part, alot happening and alot of fan service with some great cameos. My favourite cameo was a relatively small one connecting the old Marvel Netflix shows to the MCU which I appreciated more than the main surprise appearances.

I recently watched the Last Duel which was very good, three different points of view from the three main characters with an ending that sort of leaves it up to the viewer to make their mind up as to what actually happened.

I also recently watch Venom 2, that was alot better than I thought it was going to be.

Having a few days of work this week I took advantage and went and saw The Northman and then Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness. While Multiverse of Madness was on my watchlist for a long time and continued to build on the MCU The Northman wasn't and I didn't know anything about it but I quite liked it, both films were pretty solid.

Other recent movies I watch was Uncharted, The Batman and The Matrix Resurrections awhile back. Uncharted was meh (I'm a huge fan of the games), The Batman was very, very good and while The Matrix Resurrections was very nostalgic is a pretty meh too.

Streamed "I Am Mother" on Netflix last night.

Part "2001: A Space Odyssey", part "Passengers", and more than a nod towards "Bad Boy Bubby"

Worth a look.

Was pretty impressed with "Elvis", I felt they rushed the last half an hour or so though, it a bit weird for a movie that goes for 159 minutes.

I made the mistake of going to an 8:30 session too, especially after getting up at 5am that morning.

Well worth a watch.

I enjoyed it, was so sad at the end but it's not like I didn't know how the story finished!
Was worried early and it was jumping around and looked like it was going to be too fancy but straightened up fairly quickly.

I hate going to the movies. Last time we went, there was an anoying couple chatting non-stop, after 15 minutes I had enough and shouted "Hey, a little less conversation please"
Whoops, there goes another year. Whoops, there goes another pint of beer.

Tom Hanks' character was extremely awkward and hard to like but bloody hell he played it well.
