Wonderfully crafted film, and yes, what a nasty character! Pity about the ending though

Seen too many movies these holidays with crap endings - No Country..., I Am Legend (the last half an hour completely leaves a bad taste in the mouth after a reasonable start) and Cloverfield just...kinda...stops. Boooo!

Endings that try to defy convention and avoid cliche have become the new cliche!

Mind you I wish Aliens vs Predator 2 had a more sudden ending, say ten minutes after it began...utter shite.

Good enough to win a Golden Globe 8)

I agree with ZipZap on the ending though. It leaves you feeling a bit flat.

The fake trailers for Grindhouse, the Rodriguez/Tarantino double bill, are hysterical, especially Machete and Thanksgiving.

Rodriguez's Planet Terror will appeal to horror/zombie fans.

A bit of fun but runs out of puff.

Tarantino's Death Proof is diabolical.

Some of the worst dialogue ever written.

Sometimes In April. Watch it if you like movies such as Hotel Rwanda and Tears of The Sun. Warning this movie not for skwormish as shows details of mass genocide in Rwanda. A movie that gets you thinking on how lucky we are in Australia!!

Bittersweet little gem.

A little overwritten but that's being picky.

Great soundtrack and the best opening credits sequence I've seen since Catch Me If You Can.

Thanks Troy hadn't heard of that one but will look out for it. Just a shame noone seems to learn from it judging by what seems to be kicking off in Kenya at the moment. Bill Clinton was interviewed here a couple of years back and said his biggest regret was not acting on Rwanda sooner...he reckoned he might have saved around a quarter of a million lives if he had.

Have recently seen Juno, which was ok but I wouldn't describe it as a comedy, I Am Legend which I was disappointed with, and Into The Wild which is bit of an arty film but was worth a look.

I haven't seen a movie in a few months that I thought was really great.
