Bejesus, you sat through that? I got about 25 minutes in and dumped it for Modern Family on my flight.

Yeah I found it interesting, how "true" it was is another issue.

Watched Worlds End last night... Been wanting to see that for some time... Really enjoyed, not the best of the cornetto series but still funny and incredibly random

Yes it's almost an unknown film due to the success of Saving Private Ryan, it gives you more of a realistic view of war than that film.

Avengers End Game...

It was good, but not great imo... I may have gone into watching it with too higher expectations

Ditto on both fronts. Took my 10 and 8 year old lads to see it, with the youngest being a huge Avengers nut and he gave it a pass, but only just.

They both actually preferred Shazaam

Watched “Early Man” again with the kids last night, one of those movies the young ones really enjoy with plenty of humor to keep the adults entertained

Toy Story 4.

No need for a 4th film. But still very good imo

Yeah I found it interesting, how "true" it was is another issue.

Also saw 'Vice' on a flight a few weeks back - I liked it, the narrative style was interesting and different, and the performances of Christian Bale and Sam Rockwell (especially) were impressive. Also, Steve Carell continues to impress in more dramatic roles IMHO, his portrayal of Donald Rumsfeld was also noteworthy.

Oh, and I also watched "Can You Forgive Me" - Melissa McCarthy stars as an out of work author who forges letters from famous people and sells them to wealthy enthusiasts, and it's based on a true story. Pretty good, McCarthy gives a very good performance in a more 'straight' role. However, the incomparable Richard E. Grant ('Withnail and I') steals the show as her camp off-sider.

Friday night watched 'The Big Short'.. took a little to get into and felt had to concentrate fair bit early to make sure i understood exactly what was being said/going on.. but think that added to drawing me in.

It's a movie based around the Global Financial Crisis and a few investors who basically saw it coming and risked it for the biscuit.

I thoroughly enjoyed it.

*edit* i've just realised i'm about 6 months behind most of you haha! :(

It’s a great film. I like how it has the odd quirky little tutorial about how global finance works, then gets back to the story.
