The last season just finished on 9, gem or go with the final airing at 10-30 and about 10 weeks behind!

been an interesting start to the series with an idol already been flushed out but not used

phil is on fire with his stealth propoganda

Have watched the first two episodes so far.

Hantz seems likely to be the early story over with the favs. I suspect they will continually want to kick him out but be reluctant to do so and he'll stick around for some time.

Over with the Fans, the older lady seems to have taken early control of the majority aliance, however I can see Matt trying to make an early play, shifting the numbers and causing a lot of scrambling even before the merge. They'll head into a merge situation and get picked off fairly easily if that happens.
Having said that, I'm sure there are a number of Favs who would prefer to work with Fans towards the end rather than experienced players.

Yeah, couldn't believe they didn't grab at 5th and 6th. There were certainly a few good candidate to fill that void if they looked for it. In the end they never tried and paid the price.
Hardly able to call themselves fans after making such basic mistakes!

and again Shamar was accused of lying when he was only trying to help that silly girl HOPE out, who would still be alive if she flipped.

sure she wouldve been gone eventually but she may have lasted an extra 3 days min and anything can happen

Spoiler alert!

Man, did Corrine and Malcolm stuff it up or what!
They had a 6, but couldn't get over the line with a 7th.
Phil wanted to split the vote and Corrine fought it, in the process blowing her plan!

All they had to do was let Phil split the votes, then take their 6 and get rid of Phil (6-3-3)

From there they have a 6-5 majority and can walk it home!

Instead they are now in the minority and will be going out 8-12!

For repeat players they really did a bad job!

The only thing is, even if the favs didn't switch from Malcolm to Michael, he still wouldn't have been home, as they would have still been down in the numbers 4-6:
Malcom, Michael, Reynold and Eddie vs Dawn, Phillip, Cochrane, Brenda, Eric and Sherri

Would have been interesting to see how that played out.
However with it now being 3-7, I'm not sure there is too much left in this one...

With Andrea calling the shots,
Malcolm and Reynold will go soon, leaving:
Andrea, Dawn, Phillip, Cochrane, Brenda, Eric, Sherri and Eddie.

Eddie the only wildcard. Will be interesting to see how far Andrea takes him, or if she's only interested in his vote to get rid of Phillip at 8.

I can see Andrea, Dawn, Cochrane and Eric taking over to knock out Sherri (fan), Phillip (they all hate) and Brenda (seems on the out) and Eddie after he is used for the vote at 8.

The only side to that would be if Dawn, who seems very keen to make moves this time round, takes over the game when they get down to 5 to pull Dawn, Cochrane and one of Eric/Brenda into the mix to take out Andrea. Brenda probably the ideal one given Eric seems to get along with Andrea.

If Malcolm can win one at 10 / 9, use the idol at the other and sneak into the top 7 (after phillip goes), then the game gets interesting for him again. Could be a handy number, or even pull together a 4 of Malcolm, Brenda, Eric and Sherri to knock out Dawn, Cochrane and Andrea. The concern there is Eric squealing to Andrea.

If Malcolm is to survive, he needs to work out fast that Dawn is the one cutting him off at the knees each time!

Yeah, great episode.

Would have been brilliant if he didn't play his idol, but you can't get it right every time.
Interesting to see that Eric was the only one who voted against the seven, I wonder if that's something the 3 can work with.

Still leaves them down 5-4 even if they get him over.

Interestingly, Cochran seemed happy to ditch Dawn if needed, and her paranoia is likely to get her in trouble at some stage.... you never know.

As he said in the exit interview, wouldn't have played it anyway so didn't really matter.

Interesting move by Eric and Sherri, obviously would have been a clear 4th, and hard to make the final three from there, but all it takes it to win the final immunity challenge.
Now in a 6, and clearly the two untrustworthy ones, it will be interesting to see how they expect to make the final three this way.

Tall poppy syndrome might let them fly under the radar a bit, but not sure how much.

Yeah, reasonably happy with the way that played out.

Interesting to see Brenda had one cooking when she was out there competing. No wonder she did so well in the challenges.

9-0 on the jury votes is a reasonable effort.
Surprised dawn didn't get a few votes, especially when she was the one who sniffed out the three amigos each time and thwarted their attempts. Seems the crying just got on everyone's nerves too much.

I love the distain everyone treated Sherri with, classic!
