Finished Wentworth season 6 last night. After a very poor first 6-7 episodes which nearly saw me give it up, it recovered well and looks like they could go another season

Yeah I’m not sure how we stuck with it, but it recovered somewhat. Think their committed to 1 more season, but calling stumps after that.

Always have a chuckle at the bad acting of any detectives in the show, real throwback to Prisoner

Yep, most episodes this season were boring until there was two minutes to go.

Season 7 is definitely the last, for me to get through it they'll need a shitload more of a story, at the very least they'll need to chuck in more cell scenes.

City of Evil - C9

Adelaide crime / court reporter Sean Fewster looking at the bizarre, weird, downright brutal nature of some of South Australia's most notable murder cases. Worth watching on 9 Catch Up if you haven't already seen it.

I think its a good show in the main, but some of the stories they gloss over very quickly.

NRL Footy Show axed after 25 years.

AFL next?

“It’s been an incredible ride for The Footy Show. A quarter of a century of laughs, controversy and first-class footy analysis,” Malone said in a statement.

“I want to thank everyone who has contributed to this amazing era of live sports-entertainment television – from producers, editors, camera operators, the players, guests and of course the legendary hosts,” Malone added.

“Fatty holds the record for the longest serving host of any prime time Australian TV show – a tribute to both his understanding of the game, his authenticity, and not to mention his incredible comedic timing,.

“In recent years, Erin has equally brought a new energy, perspective and showed her passion for the game.

“Erin is a star and a great broadcaster. She’s going to take an even more prominent role on Nine’s sports broadcasts going forward.”
