Only seen the first episode as the missus wants to watch it too so only 1 episode per week.

It must be good as my old man is as fussy when it comes to TV shows and only told him about it on Sunday and he's watched all 4 released episodes already!

I've watched the first 3, really enjoying it, those Russians are crazy.
A little off putting that the whole thing is in English, not complaining but just seems strange

Appeals to a wider audience that way, much like Enemy at the Gates. I for one am not a fan of reading subtitles, especially when talking is combined with nudity.

You're a fan of the nude miners scenes?

 just seen this.

I downloaded and watch Chernobyl over the weekend, just finshed it. Brilliant series and great insight into the truly devastating impact the Chernobyl disaster had.

There's a good doco on tonight on Crime and Investigation Channel on Foxtel about Nicola Gobbo, the lawyer who acted for who's who of the Melbourne underworld scene whilst also being a police informant. I watched it last week on Sky News and it was a bloody good show and is being replayed on CI channel tonight. Definitely worth a look.

Finished this Tuesday night. Loved it. First mini series I've got into for a long time.

Disturbing fact at the end about the people on the bridge that night

:(

Anyone expecting the ABC's rendition of Robert G Barretts 'Les Norton 'series to be anything even remotely like the books will be sorely disappointed.

Didn’t mind the first episode, but I haven’t read the books, and form what I hear, you probably couldn’t make the books into a TV show. Keen to read the books, though.

Easy read, good laugh, characters in the books are nowhere even close to the ABC series.

Agreed.

Plus, the bar was pretty high to start with, so it's no wonder people are getting the shits.

Never thought I'd be wishing for Denyer to get back on the box.

Anyone watch the finale of The Handmaid's Tale last night? Thoughts? I'm kind of glad the season's over, the narrative really dragged for me this season.

Haven't watched it yet but as a whole this season has failed to keep my attention at times, unlike the first 2 seasons.

*edit - Thought it was a good final episode with some good feel and sad moments, a little similar to season 2 ending though.
I read somewhere that the show has now surpassed the book/s so like Game of Thrones it's in the show writer's hands.
