RIP James Gandolfini

Postby Lunchcutter » Thu Jun 20, 2013 10:42 am

I was saddened to hear that James Gandolfini has passed away suddently overnight. :( Sopranos was one of my favouritie series of all time. Gandolfini has been great in everything I've seen him in, and I must confess I always found him extremely sexy in a "mob" kinda way. RIP :(

I guess that ends talk of a movie, at least for a while.

It's sad because I was only watching "Killing Me Softly" the other week and thinking that Gandolfini looked very overweight and unhealthy.

Very sad news :(

The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas

If you see the movie Welcome to the Rileys you will see a different side to James.
The Sopranos tough guy, is a mellow fellow in this movie.
He goes from tough guy to Mr nice guy.

James Gandolfini in my mind is one of the great actors.
He didn't have the glamour film star look , he looked more like an everyday bloke.
What he did have was a great ability to act.

He was harshly dealt with in The Last Castle
He actually admired Lt General Eugene Irwin (Robert Redford) who, in return, $hat on him.
I never liked Redford after that movie
T shooda fed him to da fishes
